An Introduction to 3D Software & 3D Printing for Beginners

This course is run by Paul Boyd.
- Aimed at those with little or no experience of 3D Printing who want to become more confident using a 3D Printer and 3D software
- Find out about free software that is available for the PC & Mac
- Get hands on experience using 3D software & see a 3D printer in use
- Innovative ways of teaching 3D CAD
- Learn about setting up and calibrating a machine, managing and sending files
- Tips on working with a 3D printer in the classroom including teaching and learning ideas and strategies
- Delegates will have access to a computer at the venue for the training but delegates may find it useful to bring their laptop with them
- Project ideas suitable for different material areas (including textiles)
