Celebrating the ordinary

This month I have taken a photo a day for the whole of May. Each photo was taken randomly but in some way represented my day and in particular something I value within it. To the outsider many images will look odd but to me they all have a meaning and tell a story. It is easy in the hustle and bustle of a busy work schedule to forget the ordinary day to day things that give us pleasure. It can be useful to stop every now and again to reflect on these little things and to celebrate the ordinary.

This month's free photo download to prompt reflection:

Coloured paper 5748

How can the image be used as a metaphor for something that is happening in your life (good or bad)? What does it spark inside you in terms of seeing a new way forward you had not previously considered?

Save the image to your downloads folder.
