Resources listed are not recommendations and they should be reviewed to ensure they are suitable to use. Note, some resources are targeted at teachers and others at students. At the time of listing, all resources were free.

Resources on other websites
- The BBC Bitesize website has a range of resources for different age groups, KS3 resources are quite limited but many of the GCSE resources are also suitable for younger learners (they include mini tests and quizzes along with outlining knowledge). Choose the age range the resources are for and the area of the UK along with design and technology.
- Online learning via Oak National Academy
- Remote teaching and home learning resources by the National STEM Learning Centre
- Design Museum resources (the Design Ventura design challenge might also be a useful resource for teachers)
- Museum of the Home, and in particular the collections library has an archive of a range of products for the home. The website also has some learning activities.
- The Untitled website has live design briefs students can work on and entries are judged at different points during the year
- Range of practical design challenges by The James Dyson Foundation, some of which use materials that might be found around the home
- Institution of Engineering and Technology - download 18 worksheets designed to support maths in D&T at GCSE (and the answers are included!)
- TSL quick quizzes - download a range of quick quiz sheets
- Resources from the V&A museum
- Resources from the Science Museum
- Resources from the Fairtrade Foundation
- Learn how to program a Micro:bit
- Create 3D models and electronic circuits using Tinkercad
- RSA design challenge that may be suitable for adapting for home learning even if the competition isn’t entered
- STEM practical challenges from the Smallpiece Trust using materials that might be available at home
- STEM resources from Practical Action
- Activities, experiments and quizzes on STEM based themes by Learn by Design
- The challenges on the Little Inventors website are targeted at primary learners but some may be suitable for adapting for older students
- Resources from the Marks and Spencer archive museum on fibres, fabrics, fashion. Although some resources are targeted at other key stages and subjects many are a good starting point for ideas for KS3 and 4 D&T. The archive catalogue is also a good research tool for students to use
- Closed Facebook group for teachers only with lesson resources shared by teachers
