Disassembly
Disassembling a product can help us evaluate it in more detail. It tells us more about how something is made, the component parts used and how it works.
Disassembling a product and analysing it also helps us evaluate how sustainable it is. It helps us consider how we might redesign the product so it is designed for disassembly e.g. reducing the number of parts, use more standard components and using materials and parts so they can be recycled or reused more easily.
