Gore-Tex

Gore-Tex has an ePTFE membrane laminated between layers of fabric. The porous holes in the ePTFE are small enough to allow body moisture molecules to travel through, but are too big to allow rain and wind through. This makes the fabric breathable, but water and wind resistant.
