Take a look at one of the venues I use for my courses

I run a variety of different courses for teachers, adults generally and children. I use a variety of different venues and even travel all over the country for some of the teacher courses I run for various national training providers.

I also run a lot of my own courses as an independent consultant and one of the main venues I use is The Husqvarna Studio at Coles Sewing Centre in Nottingham. I have used several different venues for my independent workshops over the years and this is definitely my favourite and one I return to the most with the majority of my textiles and craft courses now being based there.

This is a great venue for all the different types of courses I run as it has a large workshop upstairs plus a downstairs shop which is particularly useful for the textiles and craft workshops I run as if anyone needs anything they can just pop downstairs to get it! Anyone coming on a course also gets 10% discount in the shop on the day of the course which is a real bonus.

People on my courses often comment what a nice environment the Studio has with a big bonus being that there are lots of machines and space and always lots going on and lots of people to chat to. The venue is close to Nottingham city centre and is a short walk, taxi or tram ride from the main railway station so is easy to travel to. There are also several car parks close by for those travelling by car.

Take a look at photos of the venue and watch this short video. http://www.husqvarnastudio.co.uk/About_us.html . You can also watch a different short video about the venue at http://www.youtube.com/watchfeature=player_embedded&v=Degwiv4_eE4
