Free Resource Offers

It has been a bit of a busy week so the blog is a couple of days late, and isn’t in the usual format, as I haven’t had time to include lots of new links and ideas. There are, however, lots of links below to resources and ideas already on my website that might support lesson planning. The full blog will be back as normal at the end of the week.

As well as my weekly blog I am also starting to develop my Facebook page with several updates being added a week. These include lesson ideas, photos and other resources. I often find things that aren’t suitable for the weekly blog, or there are simply too many bits of information to include in the blog itself, and my Facebook page is often a better place to share them.

I will also be using my Facebook page in the future to promote free resource downloads. Facebook is a good forum for me to do this from as it is easier for me to manage than the blog and the website. Note each resource will only be on offer for a short time and and the resources generally won’t be available elsewhere for free.

As I can’t include lots of new links and ideas in this week’s newsletter I have extended the Facebook free resource offer on smart & modern materials that was supposed to finish on 30th April, as well as adding an additional new free resource on biomimicry. The smart and modern resource is likely to be of most interest to textiles teachers but the biomimicry resource is relevant to all D&T teachers.

Details on how to download the free resources are on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/julieboydonline). Note the downloads might not be supported on mobile devices. Don’t delay as the resources are only available until 15th and 22nd May 2015 respectively.

If you would like to get notifications on when free resource downloads are released simply ‘like’ my Facebook page. Don’t worry I only post D&T and teaching and learning information and I can’t see your posts. The images below are just some of the content that has been included over the last week. Visit the page to see other images and the ideas and resources that went with them. www.facebook.com/julieboydonline
