When we use a sewing machine we’re using a variety of different levers and mechanisms and types of motions. 

In this video the motor is transferring circular motion via the wheel at the side of the machine ……..


…….to reciprocating motion (the needle going up and down) whilst the fabric moves through the machine using linear motion…..


……whilst this is happening the bobbin case is turning backwards and forwards in an oscillating motion.
