Sisters Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell founded Collier Campbell in the 1960s and were made famous when French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent uses some of their designs for his first ready to wear collection. After that they went on to work with many top designers and companies, including Liberty, Habitat, Jaeger and Conran. 

Since the death of Susan Collier her sister has worked independently at Sarah Campbell DesignsThe original Collier and Campbell company is now in the hands of independent owners but still has the same vision as the sisters who started the company.
