Keego is a water bottle made out of a new development in metal materials to create a metal that stretches and which can be used to produce a squeezable water bottle. It has been developed in response to concerns about plastic water bottles which can taint the taste of the water, and the weight of alternatives such as glass or traditional metal. The bottles are made out of titanium and use a layering process to put an elastic polymer at the core of the metal which adds flexibility to the material. The material has been created by a company who produce accelerator parts for CERN and other particle accelerators.
